Regular massage has been proven beneficial to immune system functionality, injury prevention, and the general health and well being of any given person. Working with the same therapist over an extended period of time is also an excellent way to improve conditions such as chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, and injury recovery. Give your therapist a chance to learn what techniques your body responds the best to and what treatments your body needs so that together you can work towards a healthier life.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. It has been shown to be helpful in reducing chronic pain, joint stiffness, stress and insomnia. It also improves circulation, range of motion, immune system functionality, and muscle functionality.

Add Deep Tissue "as needed" during massage for no extra charge.

Add Trigger Point "as needed" during massage for $5.00.

Sports Massage

$70 per 60 Min

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Add Deep Tissue "as needed" during massage for no extra charge.

Add Trigger Point "as needed" during massage for $5.00

Reflexology

$40 per 30 Min

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. It is based on the principal that there are reflexes in the feet that relate to every organ, gland, and system for the body. And by pressing on specific points in the feet the therapist can affect the correlating systems. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Meditate or relax in a quiet room with soft music playing and let yourself take a moment for you.

Deep Tissue Massage

$70 per 50 Min in a specific area

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Trigger Point Therapy

$60 per 45 Min in a specific area

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger Points are small palpable nodules found in taunt bands of muscle (commonly referred to as “knots”). They cause specific referred or local pain patterns and when compressed will also often cause a local twitch response. Trigger points have been associated with chronic pain (such as those aches blamed on “getting old”), headaches, and changes in posture. The therapist usually treats trigger points by compressing or pinching the point until the nodule releases to relieve the symptoms.

Aromatherapy

$5 per massage

Aromatherapy is any massage done with a custom made blend of essential oils. These blends can be tailored to promote relaxation, tissue healing, scar reduction, rejuvenation, and more. As a bonus the client gets to bring any leftover oil home with them to use on their own, or they can bring the blend back (in the same container) within one month to be used as an addition to a follow-up massage for no extra charge.

Pre/Post-Event Sports Massage

$1 per Minute (Minimum of 5 minutes. Ma

Pre-event massage is fast paced stimulating massage that improves the muscles contractibility and prepares an athlete to perform at their highest potential. This type of massage is done fully clothed and emphasizes pumping and rocking motions to prepare the muscle to respond more quickly to the athletes needs. This type of massage is a great addition to any warm up routine and can be done up to two days prior to any event. Note: The closer to the event, the lighter the massage will be and the less time should be spent being massaged to avoid relaxing the muscle instead of stimulating.

Post-event massage is a great addition to your cool down routine and can be done up to two days after an event. It is a fast paced light massage geared towards helping the athlete recover from the event and prevent cramps. Gentle stretches can also be incorporated to relieve cramps. This type of massage is similar to the pre-event massage because it is also done fully clothed and incorporates the same rocking and pumping motions but after the event these decrease fatigue and soreness to improve the athletes rate of recovery. Note: The closer to the event, the lighter the massage will be and the less time should be spent being massaged. Post-event massage should ONLY be receive after your cool-down routine. It is dangerous to go from a major physical activity to a prone, unmoving position without properly cooling down first.
